From Joan of Arc to Gertrude Stein to Rosa Parks, throughout time, women who challenge the cultural norms of femininity have been labeled as “provocative,” “hysterical,” “persistent”! Activist author Mona Eltahawy (The Seven Necessary Sins for Women and Girls) leads us through an evening of short stories celebrating those who subvert expectations and disrupt the peace, including Charlotte Perkins Gilman’s feminist classic, “The Yellow Wallpaper.”
