Join us for Interpreting MoMA, our free program for Deaf adults, featuring a wine and cheese reception in the Sculpture Garden followed by a private gallery talk with sign-language interpretation of the special exhibition Matisse: The Red Studio. We’ll unpack the radical nature of the painting’s almost entirely red surface and explore recent discoveries about the process of its making. Voiced English will be interpreted into ASL.
5:00 p.m. – Check-in at the staff entrance at 11 W 53rd Street, and wine and cheese reception in the museum’s Sculpture Garden
6:00 p.m. – Tour and gallery conversation, in the Matisse: The Red Studio exhibition on MoMA’s 3rd Floor
