Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Auditorium, 3rd Floor

In celebration of our new exhibition Africa Fashion, explore the influence of African culture and style through this conversation with three visionaries who are championing creativity on the continent. Reni Folawiyo is a cultural entrepreneur from Lagos, Nigeria, known for her role in shaping and defining contemporary African style. Artsi Ifrah is the creative talent behind Maison ARTC, a leading Marrakech-based fashion label whose work is on view in the exhibition. Kehinde Wiley is both one of the world’s foremost painters and the founder of Black Rock Senegal, which brings together international artists to live and work in Dakar. All three will speak with award-winning Lagos- and Brooklyn-based journalist Lola Ogunnaike, providing insight into the creative renaissance taking place across Africa.

Masks are required in the Auditorium and will be available upon arrival.
