2020 Anne Hill Blanchard Uncommon Artists Lecture

Sunday, January 19 at 10:30am-12:30pm
ASL interpretation will be provided.

The 2020 Anne Hill Blanchard Uncommon Artists Lecture will feature three 20-minute presentations on self-taught artists, including James Castle who was born deaf and lived in rural Iowa during the first half of the 20th century. Scholar Diana Greenwald will be presenting on Castle and his incredible intimate artworks, and we want to make the program more widely accessible to those in the Deaf community by having American Sign Language interpretation for the program. There will also be presentations on self-taught artists Yuichiro Ukai and Eddie Owen Martin (St. EOM). A full description and more details can be found HERE
