 including the museum ramps\, which are standing room only. Limited seating

 \n\nThis special evening program celebrates the artistry of poetry: writte
 n\, spoken\, and signed. In Sound/Off\, Deaf and hard-of-hearing poets wri
 ting in English join Deaf and hard-of-hearing poets making poems in Americ
 an Sign Language on stage in the Guggenheim’s iconic rotunda to honor th
 e richness and malleability of language in different hands and on differen
 t tongues. Conceived of by the Guggenheim’s 2024 Poet-in-Residence Meg D
 ay\, readers will be announced later this fall.\n\nThe program concludes w
 ith access to Day’s project Ekphrasis in Air featured on the sixth level
  of the museum’s rotunda as part of the installation Sixth Stanza\, and 
 an exhibition viewing of Harmony and Dissonance: Orphism in Paris: 1910-19
 30.\nPresented by the Guggenheim Poet-in-Residence in association with the
  Academy of American Poets.
