  prolific writer\, advocate for public art\, and Lincoln Center’s inaugu
 ral poet-in-residence—hosts Soft Loving Ways\, the September iteration o
 f her Seen\, Sound\, Scribe series\, now beginning its third season. Brown
 e brings her experience to bear for a thought-provoking gathering of creat
 ors: filmmaker Amhalise Morgan\; poets Cyrus Aaron\, Fred T. Joseph\, and 
 Joél Leon and DJ Jive Poetic. We welcome new and old friends to take part
  in a night where men are seen with adoration\, with love\, and with softn
 ess through film\, poetry\, dialogue\, and music.
