DESCRIPTION:Time: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM\n\nThis winter recess\, join us at the
  Intrepid Museum for ASL-interpreted presentations and workshops during Ki
 ds Week!\n\nChildren of all ages and interests will learn about science\, 
 technology\, engineering\, arts and math through fun-filled activities\, l
 ive animal shows\, hands-on workshops\, performances\, special guests and 
 interactive demonstrations designed to educate and inspire.\n\nFamilies an
 d individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing are invited to attend for fr
 ee for American Sign Language-interpreted presentations\, demonstrations a
 nd workshops. Advance registration is required.\n\nNoon - Intrepid Museum 
 Education Demonstration: Poof! Life in a Vacuum\n\nDiscover the importance
  of the Earth's atmosphere is and why astronauts need to wear spacesuits. 
 Using a bell jar and vacuum pump\, Museum educators will mimic the vacuum 
 of space and its effect on objects.\n\n1:00pm - Mad Science Presents Big T
 op Science\n\nCome one\, come all and behold a series of Physics demonstra
 tions that includes an activity that explains why a bed of nails is a good
  night sleep. Recommended for ages 5+.\n\n2:00pm-3:00pm - Intrepid Museum 
 Education Workshop: Robotic Arm\n\nDesign a simple device to move an objec
 t in space!\n\n3:00pm - Mad Science Presents Big Top Science\n\nCome one\,
  come all and behold a series of Physics demonstrations that includes an a
 ctivity that explains why a bed of nails is a good night sleep. Recommende
 d for ages 5+.\n\nTo register for Saturday\, February 26\, please visit ht

  Museum's health and safety guidelines. Following the City of New York’s
  Key to the City mandate\, all visitors ages 5 and older will be required 
 to show proof they have received two vaccine doses (except for those who h
 ave received the one dose of the Johnson &amp\; Johnson vaccine)\, as well
  as identification\, before entering the Museum. Please bring proof and ID
