 ng\nPlease join us for MoMA’s bimonthly program welcoming individuals wh
 o are Deaf or hard of hearing to participate in an ASL–interpreted priva
 te gallery talk focusing on one of MoMA’s exhibitions\, along with a win
 e and snack reception.\n\nIn March\, we will explore the exhibition Jack W
 hitten: The Messenger with members of the curatorial team. Spanning nearly
  six decades\, this exhibition is the first full retrospective of Whitten
 ’s innovative practice\, featuring more than 175 paintings\, sculptures\
 , and works on paper that illuminate his singular vision. Featuring numero
 us works that have never before been shown\, the exhibition presents the a
 rtist’s revelatory exploration of culture\, race\, technology\, jazz\, l
 ove\, and war.\n\nImage description: A deep blue abstract painting. Streak
 s of blue paint ripple across the canvas with some areas smeared away\, re
 vealing layers of grey\, brown\, black\, and red swirling brushstrokes und
 erneath.\n\nAccessibility\n\n\nThe Cullman Education and Research Center e
 ntrance has a power-assist door.\n\nSeating options include gallery stools
  and minimal gallery benches. Gallery stools\, wheelchairs\, and rollators
  are available by request at all Museum entrances\, on a first-come first-
 served basis.\n\nAccessible and all-gender restrooms are located in the Cu
 llman Education Building. Accessible restrooms are also located near the t
 our galleries.\n\n\nGuide dogs and other trained service animals are alway
 s welcome.\n\n\nAmerican Sign Language (ASL) interpretation will be provid
 ed for this program.\n\n \nLive captioning (CART) and audio description ar
 e available for public programs upon request with two weeks’ advance not
 ice. MoMA will make every effort to provide accommodation for requests mad
