 s before the performance.\n\nNow that humans are extinct and the world as 
 we knew it has ended\, the Octopus has a decision to make… Will it be wi
 lling to give up one of its three hearts in order to create a new\, more s
 ensitive human being? Will it be willing to give humanity a second chance?
 \nRooted in African diasporic storytelling traditions and the musical line
 ages of blues\, jazz\, and soul\, HUMAN explores themes of connection\, hu
 man rights\, ancestral memory\, climate\, and collective responsibility an
 d asks audiences to question what it really means to be human in a time of
  deep ethical fracture.\nEach performance is preceded by a free puppet-mak
 ing workshop using upcycled materials\, culminating in a short\, audience-
 led procession into the theater\, where these creations become part of the
  performance experience.\nAccessibility:\nRunning time: 70 minutes. This p
 rogram welcomes audiences ages 3 and up. The production includes sudden lo
 ud moments\, bright and glaring lights\, and haze effects. The Shed’s Gr
 iffin Theater has accessible seating. ASL interpretation and audio descri
 ption will be available.
