Her latest album explores issues of immigration\, the perso nal history of American immigrants\, and newly orchestrated renditions of the work of Latin American writers.\nCarlos Chirinos\, Ph.D. is a Music an d Global Health Associate Professor at New York University. His research a nd practice explores the intersection of popular music\, community engagem ent\, and public health in Africa and Latin America.\nJaime Lozano is a mu sical theatre composer who has been heralded as the “next big thing” o n Broadway by Hamilton’s Lin-Manuel Miranda.
