 w memoir\, Wildflower. Named one of Harper’s Bazaar’s most anticipated
  books of 2023\, Wildflower follows James’s journey from her tumultuous 
 young womanhood to eventually creating her own Brooklyn-based company\, Br
 other Vellies\, a sustainable fashion line showcasing traditional African 
 designs. Now widely known for moving the fashion industry's needle forward
  by connecting economics to racial justice\, James also tells the riveting
  story of how she founded the Fifteen Percent Pledge. The organization cal
 ls on retailers to commit 15 percent of their shelf space and spending pow
