 orary artists\, whose works were recently added to the collection\, explor
 e their practice in rapid-fire conversations with curators.\n\nDare Turner
 \, Curator of Indigenous Art\, begins the evening by moderating a discussi
 on with Hayden Haynesand Samantha Jacobs about their collaborations. Jacob
 s is a Seneca artist of the Turtle Clan from the Cattaraugus Territory\, w
 ho is known for her beaded moccasins\, quillwork\, moose embroidery\, and 
 caribou hair tufting. A citizen of the Seneca Nation and Deer Clan\, Hayne
 s creates works of photography\, found objects\, and antler carvings that 
 are dedicated to healing—an expression of Hodinöhsö:ni’ life today.\
 n\nPauline Vermare\, Phillip and Edith Leonian Curator of Photography\, sp
 eaks with photographer and director Diana Markosian\, whose approach to do
 cumentary storytelling expands the genre’s boundaries.\n\nCarmen Hermo\,
  former Associate Curator of the Center for Feminist Art\, speaks with Mel
 issa Joseph\, whose work is on view in The Brooklyn Artists Exhibition. Th
 rough artwork that pairs needle felting and found objects\, Joseph conside
 rs themes of memory\, family history\, and the politics of how people occu
