 ores gold’s many symbolic meanings and its role in her work as both a co
 lor and a material. Additionally\, she shares her journey of building an i
 ndependent\, female-run brand\, including her commitment to center her bus
 iness in New York City’s Garment District for the past 40 years.\n\nOrga
 nized on the occasion of the Museum’s 200th anniversary\, Solid Gold sho
 wcases more than 500 works\, with a section devoted to the fashion world
