 rround our hero\, Blackout A.K.A. Cassie. The grind never seems to end and
  now in this dark hour\, she’s the one who needs help. One year ago\, he
 r mentor\, the legendary Kinetic\, committed suicide plagued by the shadow
 s of his mind. Those same shadows now threaten to overwhelm Cassie whose e
 lectric abilities surge uncontrolled growing worse with each passing hour.
  The best hope for Blackout lies with her best friend\, the intrepid repor
 ter Annie and her estranged brother and widower of Kinetic\, Anthony. All 
 three must confront their grief\, trauma\, and resentment in order to save
