SUMMARY:American Ballet Theatre presents ABTKids
DESCRIPTION:\n\nTime: 11:00 AM\n\nTickets: All seats for ABTKids are priced
  at $25. Tickets are available for purchase online at https://www.abt.org/
 abtkids\, at the Met box office\, or by phone at (212) 362-6000.\n\nSwans\
 , sword fights\, and toreadors will take center stage as ABTKids comes to 
 the Metropolitan Opera House. Hosted by ABT Principal Dancer James Whitesi
 de\, ABTKids provides a narrated hour-long introduction to ballet for chil
 dren ages 5-12 and their families. An ASL interpreter will be provided.\n\
 nThis season's ABTKids performance will serve up bite-sized excerpts of wo
 rks from ABT's Summer season including Swan Lake\, Don Quixote\, and Romeo
  and Juliet. In a tribute to the red\, white\, and blue\, the performance 
 will also include George Balanchine's Stars and Stripes pas de deux. Throu
 ghout the program\, audience members will be treated to a live orchestra p
 laying famous compositions by Peter Ilyitch Tchaikovsky\, Ludwig Minkus\, 
 Sergei Prokofiev\, and John Philip Sousa.\n--\nAll audience members must b
 e fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and wear face masks at all times insi
 de the Met\, except when eating or drinking in designated areas. For more
