BROADWAY BACKWARDS Benefit for Broadway Cares

Broadway Backwards Returns March 11 Sharing Show Tunes with an LGBTQ+ Twist Produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Benefiting Broadway Cares and The Center One-Night-Only Performance Returns to New Amsterdam Theatre

Produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and benefiting Broadway Cares and The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center (The Center) in New York City.

A member of our Deaf community, John McGinty (Broadway's Children of a Lesser God and King Lear), will be featured in one of the musical numbers at next month's Broadway Backwards, produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The elevated evening of love, community and unparalleled performances is the only annual Broadway event custom-made for the LGBTQ+ community and its friends and allies. By taking familiar songs in the Broadway canon and transforming them into queer anthems and love ballads, Broadway Backwards tells the stories many wish were told onstage.
